day 2 of the dream

Heyy,
This morning I woke up and groaned, the first early morning of many! I ate my honey nut cheerios and i got ready to go, and we were off for the mens 5000 m speed skating race at the Richmond Olympic Oval. We arrive and I become a duo-citizen for the day. Each race to the finish line was a match the weakest at the start and the stronger near the end! The Olympic Record broken by Sven Kramer the World Record holder!!! Each challenge was won fair and square. Sven Kramer won the Olympic gold medal for this event and as he realized it, he ran on the ice, over the glass barrier, into the crowd to celebrate his vi
ctory with his parents. He joined the crowd in all their chanting madness and he was pretty cute, if you know what I mean!!! We cheered and we cheered for the Dutch skaters (as well as the canadians), and we became Dutch! The Oval was packed as we left speed-walking to our next event. We were late!!! Me and my mom had 2 1/2 hours to get from the Oval to the Pacific Coliseum and we missed the first round of mens 1500 m short track speed skating. The rush of cheering adreneline was ah-mazing!!! By the end my throat was on fire and throbbing. The relay was really neat to watch and it seemed like a chaotic mess of skaters!!! Today was an amazing day, and guess what?? NO BARFING TEENAGERS!!!!! YEAH!!
