Well it's the day before my dream begins...not really, my dream started forever ago and

I have to pinch myself to believe that it is coming true! Michelle and I flew out of Ottawa yesterday morning, the flight to Calgary was beautiful, we had our faces stuck to the windows. It is amazing how beautiful clouds are when you are above them! Then it was Calgary to Vancouver and the anticipation was building!

We touched down at 11:00 in the morning and there were Olympic banners and logos everywhere! Judy met us at the airport to take us to our luxury hotel Chez Judy! It is a few blocks from the Richmond Oval and just down the street from the O=Zone (an Olympic celebration site). The hospitality is perfect! This is when I noticed that one of the suitcases was damp so I opened it up to find out that the shampoo and conditioner exploded on the flight and what a mess it was! It is amazing how you can laugh at this when you are on vacation!!

Next it was off to Steveston. It was beautiful - even in the rain...

Michelle and i are so stoked for the opening ceremonies tomorrow night...I'll keep you posted
